About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

American Passport Holder here

I have a 24hrs and 25mins. layover time in Xiamen Airport. Do i need to apply for a visa to stay just in the airport?
Another thing, going back to the states from the Philippines, I will be transiting in Shenzhen Bao'an Intl Airport. Do i need to apply for a transit Visa too?
