are there many places to eat and sleep at Chengdu Airport ?

my son has a 17hr stop over?

Yes, there is an Airport Hotel near T1, and he can have a rest there.
As for foods, there are also many restaurants, like Mc Donald’s, Subway Sandwich, Taima Hot Pot, KFC, and Starbucks.
