Do I have to wait few months to apply for working (Z) if I was denied getting tourist (L) VISA?

Hi, my tourist L was denied from Dec. 1. Now, I got my Notification Letter of Work Permit so I can apply for a working Z. Can I apply Z right away or should I have to wait few months? Let me thank you in advance for your answer.

Usually, one is advised to re-apply again after waiting for 3 months since rejection. If your Work Permit will valid in 3 months, you can make the application at that time then.

Hi Eric, this is Mic again and I would like to thank you for your prompt response.
One more thing to ask, will the rejection of L affects the application of the Z?
I mean, will they consider it though I will apply a different type of VISA already? I am just really worried about this. Thanks again!

It's hard to say that if the rejection of L affects the application of the Z. But you can have a try. Good luck!

Hi Micxhey, how was your application? Is it true that that it is difficult now to get OEC? I am planning to change employer and might need to go back to Philippines to process new Z type. Thanks
