About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Valid passport 5 months

Dear all,
I´m travelling to Sydney via Shangai on 2.1.2018. I have about 20 hours overstop in Shangai and I would like to see a city. Would it be a problem when my passport is valid only till 20th June 2018? I have the visa to Australia for this passport, so there won´t be a problem, but I'm not sure about China. Thank you

Hi, maybe you can enjoy the free transit in Shanghai under your current passport. But I cannot guarantee that. You can try to contact the Shanghai airport to confirm this before your trip. Good luck.
