About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi, I’m a Jamaican passport holder but I am a green card holder of the USA

I have a connecting flight to Seoul, South Korea that’s leaving New York(JFK) to with a stop in Beijing(PEK) for 14hrs 35minutes. I want to know if I need a visa since My layover is in Beijing, China.

Hi, you can get the 24 hour direct transit in Beijing by traveling like that. No visa is required then. Nice trip.

Yes, you need to show your passport and onward ticket to apply for a free temporary stay permit when you arrive at the airport. Then, you can leave the airport to explore the city.
