About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 VISA Denied

Have you ever heard of visitors being denied the 72 hr free transit even if all requirements are met (travelling direct from Canada to Beijing, within 72 hrs onto Bangkok). There are 8 of us flying and we’d like to spend a couple days sightseeing in Beijing before continuing into Thailand. A travel agent I spoke knew nothing of this visa and said we could get turned away at the Chinese customs when we land. I think she just doesn’t know her business...

Hi, if you have Canada passports, Canada-Beijing(within 72 hrs)-Bangkok will qualify for the 72 hour free transit facility in Beijing. No need to worry.
