Question

Please advise on the process and visa types for spouses. I will be working in China as a teacher and my husband will be joining me in China. Can I apply for a spousal/dependent entry permit at the same time I apply for my entry permit.

Hi, your husband can apply for the S type to stay with you in mainland China. First, prepare passport and the copy, a passport-style photo, a completed application form, an invitation letter, as well as your marriage certificate and other requirements. And then submit the application to the China embassy. You can apply for a spouses S type at the same time when you apply for your work Z type.
