About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Entries and Exits

Good day

My husband and I are from South Africa. We have been in Nanjing for just over 1 year. My husband has a working (Z) and I have a spousal visa (S1). We have both received our Residence Permit for Foreigner, which is valid for 1 year.
We have travelled to other cities in China but would like to know if we are allowed to travel to other countries and return to China while having the Residence Permit. Are we limited to the amount of times we can leave and return to China in one year?

Hi, you can travel to other countries and return to China while having the Residence Permit, and there is no limit to the amount of times you can leave and return to China within one year. No need to worry.
