About:Nanning Travel

Best area to stay in Nanning

Hi I'm travelling from Wales who are in the China cup along with Uruguay and the Czech Republic
Will be arriving 19th March for approx 10 days .
Looking to stay in central area with good access to street food bars etc also does anyone know of hotels that have swimming pool.
Is the football stadium close to the City?

I happen to know a hotel with swimming pool, Jordon Hotel in 8 Zhongjian Rd, Qingxiu District.
As for food and bar street, you can go to the Bar Street in Jiangbei Avenue, Qingxiu District and Snack Street in Zhongshan Rd, Qingxiu Distrcit.
The stadium is right in the city, about 14km from the hpotel mentioned.

The footballstadium is part of the sportscenter and located outside the citycenter. Only few buslines go there and ends at 22h(!) so that taxdrivers will ask you high fares to bring you back to the city!Take care! I suggest you stay in the exhibitioncenter-area. There have all you need, incl. Hotels(Marriott), Banks, Drogeries,Walmart and shopping malls with plenty of restaurants.(Hangyang,Wanxiangchen-MixC) and easy connections to nice sightseeing places and the busy city center at end of Minzudadao, the mainstreet.(Buses, Metro). Download the app C-Trip to have easy access to Hotels-descriptions with maps. Take in mind that 85% of the people don't speak any word english here!! Google translation-App is a must! And remenber that you need a VPN...without this, no FB,Twitter,Youtube and ..google! Have a nice stay in this beautiful city where I live since 6 years!
