About:Chinese Consulate in Toronto

Is a Letter of Invitation required?

In April my wife and I will travel to Beijing where we will stay for three days. . From there we will travel by train to Lhasa for another ten days.

I do understand that we will require visas. Do we need a Letter of Invitation for our application?

Hi, if you have round trip air tickets and hotel reservation for the application, you don't need to provide the invitation letter for that. But you need to apply for a Tibet Travel Permit to enter Lhasa.
