About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24 hrs transit for Filipinos

Hello,

I am travelling to HK via Air china from the Philippines because my sister needs assistance travelling from Europe to HK with two toddlers. I was thinking to do a 24hrs flight ETD 0600 ETA at Beijing 1100 but the flight that i need to take th ff day with my sister to HK (layover Beijing) is leaving 1300 my question is if the transit time is upon leaving the immigration? Since i will probably be at the airport at least 2-3hrs early or as soon as the check in counter opens and i will online check in as well. Am i eligible for the free 24hrs transit? I just want to see the GreatWall.

The 24 hours is measured from scheduled arrival time to scheduled departure time. So your plan won't work.
