First of all, you can’t use your credit card on any bus or metro. You are suggested to prepare some cash, or buy a transport card at the metro stations in T2/T3 after arrival.

To you hotel, take Airport Express to Dongzhimen and then transfer to metro line 2. Get off at Qianmen and go out from Exit C, then walk south for about 15 minutes to your hotel; or take a taxi after getting off.

To Forbidden City: it’s really close, about 5km, so take a taxi there. By the way, the ticket of Forbidden City can be only booked online now.

To Great Wall: I’ll take Badaling Great Wall as an example. Walk south for about 5 minutes and turn west. Walk along West Zhushikou Street for another 5 minutes to Banzhang Rd Bus Stop. Take Bus 5 to Deshengmen and transfer to Bus 877, then get off at Badalling Changcheng (Badaling Great Wall).
