Can I apply for tourist visa for china when I'm already in china

Hi, I'm currently in Shanghai. I'm here on the 15 days without visa. But would like to carry my holiday in China. Can I extend or apply for the tourist L when I'm already here. Pls advise. Thank you

Hi, I'm afraid you cannot extend or apply for the tourist L in Shanghai. You can exit from the country to re-start your 15 days free entry.
