About:Beijing Capital Airport T3

I am travelling Business class from Heathrow to Auckland and have 9hrs stopover in Beijing.

Do I have to pass through immigration as I am only in transit, and is there anywhere for me to have a shower and a sleep?

No, you don’t need to pass through immigration. I happen to know an Hourly Lounge in the east of International Waiting Area in T3, you may take a shower and rest there. Here is the official number: 0086- 010-64532621. Enjoy your time!
