About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hello I will be arriving in Shanghai at 8pm saturday and my flight out is 1140 am sunday.

Could I get a transit visa to stay in a hotel overnight?

Hi, if you will go to a third country or region different from the last one you come from after transiting in Shanghai, you can apply for the 24 hour direct transit in there, and then get a free temporary stay permit at the immigration office. Afterwards, you can stay in a hotel overnight.
