About:China Transit Visa

Filipino citizen, US permanent resident.

Hi, we have 16 hours layover in Shanghai and we wanna go out from the airport to see the place. Do we need to go to Chinese embassy just to get the 24 hours free transit visa? Or where do we get it? Please advise. Thank you

Hi, you can get the 24 hour direct transit at Shanghai airport if you will go to a third country or region different from the last one you come from after transiting in Shanghai. Nice trip!
