About:Chinese Consulate in Manchester

Do i need a visa to guangzhou

hi me and my friend are both uk citizens and keen plane enthusiasts we are going to hongkong then guangzhou staying at the guangzhou baiyun airport hotel for 3 days then flying to japan or the other way round as i am a bit confused some say we need a visa and some say you can stay 72 hours without an entry permit please help before we go thankyou

Hi, you can use the 72 hour free transit in Guangzhou as long as your travel route is HK-Guangzhou-Japan. No visa is needed. Don't worry!
