About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

im going on a cruise in march 2018

my cruise ship comes to shanghai on 25th march , from shanghai 25th march i want to catch bullet train for 2 days to Beijing stay in Beijing 25th march 26th march leave 27th march back to shanghai for 4 days 28th march 29th march 30th march i leave 30th march for Australia do i need a visa thank you for your reply

Hi, sylvia, you need to apply for a tourist L type for the trip for you are not able to use the free transit in mainland China if you travel like that.
