Water town visit

Hi, we want to do a Bullet Train and a Water Town visit near Shanghai, we thought perhaps we could visit "Xitang or Nanxu" using a bullet train and then take a few minute taxi ride to the water town. Is it doable?

It is convenient to take a high speed train from Shanghai Hongqiao to Jiashan South station. The train trip takes around 30 minutes. Upon arrival, you may take a taxi or bus no. K222 from Jiashan Bus Station to Xitang Water Town. The taxi fare is CNY40 or so and the ride takes about 20 minutes.

By the way, there are also shuttle buses from Shanghai South Long-Distance Bus Station to Xitang directly (1.5 hours).
