How to travel from Nanjing to Yangzhou?

We plan to go to YZ (Ge Yuan) from Nanjing . Is it better to take long distance or bullet train? For long distance bus, we have to take from Nanjing Long Distance Bus East Station. We will like to find out where is the destination in YZ? Is it ends at YZ West Bus Station? Also is there any website that show the schedule of the bus time from Nanjing to YZ and vice versa?

Yes, you can take the long-distance bus from Nanjing East Bus Station to Yangzhou West Bus Station. The website of Nanjing East Bus Station doesn't have English version. I found the bus schedules for you: 07:10, 08:00, 08:50, 09:10, 09:40, 10:20, 10:30, 11:20, 12:00, 12:40, 13:15, 14:00, 14:45, 15:15, 16:00, 16:45, 17:20, 17:45, 18:30 and 19:00. The ticket fare is CNY 37 per person.

About the return trip, the buses from Yangzhou West Bus Station depart at 07:10 to 19:00 with the frequency of 5-15 minutes.
