About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

LAX - Beijing 72 hours - Hong Kong - Manila

I'm a US citizen & here is my itinerary:

LAX - Beijing (72 hours) - Hong Kong - Philippines - LAX

Do the 72 hour hour free apply to Beijing? All I want to see is the Great Wall of China & Forbidden City.

It applies to you if your layover is within 72 hours and you have no further stops in Mainland China.
