About:Hong Kong Octopus Card

Octopus card or airport express in hong kong?

Theres 4 of us (2 adult , 2 kids) we’ll be staying at kawloon this weekend and will stay for 5 days. Plan to go to Disney, ocean park, NP cable and magical world. I want fast travel from airport going to our place and vice versa. What pass or card would you recommend?Thanks

If you will use Airport Express from/to airport, the Airport Express Travel Pass is suggested. If not, ordinary OC can be ok. Kids no more than 3 years old can take all transportation for free, and between 3-11 years old have special chilren card.

Thanks. Are the rates of adult AETP same as kids. My kids are 6 and 9 years old. It says that you have 3 days unlimited MTR ride. Does it mean that if we arrive on the 11th the pass is good up to 14th ?

Yes, the price of the AETP for adults and kids is the same.
As for three days unlimited metro ride, actually, which means 72 hours. For example, if you first use it at 2:00pm on 11th, then it can be used until 2:00pm on 14th.

Also if you top it up, the pass can be used as an ordinary OC.
