TRANSIT VISA FOR SRI LANKAN PASSPORT HOLDERS

Dear Chinese Embassy,

I am studying in Australia ( STUDENT VISA )and I have a Sri Lankan passport and a citizen of Sri Lanka.

I have bought a flight tiKET round travel AND flying in China South Airline and I have a transist of 9 hours in Guangzhou Airport until my next flight to SRI LANKA.

As a Sri Lankan passport holder do I need to get a china transit for the 9 hours at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport even when i I wont leave the airport ??
