About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Difference between 72 hour and normal visa?

I have a 10 year Visa for China. I will have a 14 hour layover in Beijing next month on my way to Manila (NYC - Beijing - Manila). Do I still follow the normal process for the 72 hour free transit, or can I use my normal entry permit to explore for the half day?

Hi, you can follow the normal process for the 72 hour free transit, and save the visa for your next time. Nice trip!
