About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

London - Beijing- Bangkok

Hello,
We are travelling through Beijing with a 12 hour layover. London -Beijing- Bangkok
Are we qualified for the free 24 hour transit ? Also I never flew with air china before could anyone advice on the airline and I read in a blog they don`t announce anything in English. Is it true?

You do not need a visa. Air China flight attendants usually speak understandable English but don't expect them to be fluent. English service has been mandatory on all international flights for some years now.
