Question

I want to get some information. I want to apply the visa in person in the Chicago downtown location Usually how long does it take to get the passport & visa back? How could I know it's ready? Does the consulate have any reference number or receipt I can keep track on?If I can not come in person to pick up the passport, is there any receipt or information I can provide to my family member to be on behalf of me to pick it up?Thank You.

Hi, the processing time is around four working days if you have all the right documents. You can entrust your family member to submit the application on your behalf, and both of your original passports and the pick-up slip are needed.
