About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Pakistani Passport and Canadian Permanent Resident Transiting through Beijing

Hi,
I am planning a trip from Canada to Pakistan and there is a 23 hours overnight layover in Beijing. I am a Pakistani Passport holder with valid Canadian Permanent Residence card. Will I be needing a visa to exit out of the airport in Beijing? Air China provides hotel stay for a less than 24 hours transit but I want to know that I will be able to avail that and exit the airport to go for the hotel stay. Please respond. Thanks!

24 hour transit without visa is not available to passengers travelling on Pakistan passports. You need to apply for a visa.
