About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

qualify for 24-Hour Direct Transit in China

hi I'm Marco italian citizen. my flights are follows: Itally-Beijing (with aeroflot) and Beijing-Guangzhou-Sydney (with Chinasouthern). In Beijing airport I have to take the luggage and check in for Sydney again. The same at retourn Sydney-Guangzhou-Beijing and than Beijing-Italy.
At Beijing airport i stay 5 hours and in Guangzhou i stop about 3 hours. My transit in China is less than 24 hours even on return.
- Do i qualify for 24 hours direct transit in china?
- If I leave without a visa from Italy (thinking I can do the airport 24 hours direct transit ) what if I can not get it at the airport?

You need a transit visa because of your stops in Guangzhou. It can only be obtained in advance at a Chinese embassy or consulate. Without that you will not be allowed to board your flight.
