About:Badaling Great Wall

Hotel in Beijing to Badaling Great Wall

Staying at the China National convention center grand hotel. building no. 1, yard 8, Beichen W Rd, AoYunCun, Chaoyang Qu, Beijing Shi. Since we are north of downtown, what is the best way for us to go to the Wall and Ming tombs, Ding Ling? Is there a subway that goes from our area to the Wall? Should we take subway to Ming tombs? Then a bus to the Wall? Then a bus back to downtown? Thank you!

Well, there is no direct subway that can take you to the Wall and Dingling. Do you wanna tour around these two scenic areas within in one day? If yes, you are advised to visit the Wall first and then go to Ming Tombs.

About the transportation, from your hotel, walk south 150 meters to arrive at Xinwen Zhongxin, take bus no.Te13 to Deshengmenwai Bus Stop first. Then walk south 450 meters and take bus no.877. The geting off bus stop is close to the pulley car lower station. It usually takes about 10 minutes to walk to the entrance. After touring around, take bus no.879 to get to Ming Tombs directly. It takes around 1.5 hours on the way. The return way is the same.
