About:China Great Wall

Train or Bus to Badaling Great Wall?

Hi im looking for transport from Beijing Jingyuan Courtyard Hotel to Badaling Great Wall 5 november 2017 (sunday).
im comparing either travel by bus or train to Badaling.
- Could please advise which transport mode is more advisable as we have short of time in BJ for only 2 days with many place to visit.
- how far is the walking distance to the great wall if travel by bus and train?
- will the bus be overpacked on sunday? i afraid there will be long queue for the bus
- where can i find the train and bus frequency/schedule and fare.

For your convenience, you are advised to take a taxi from your hotel to Deshengmen Bus Stop directly. The distance is only around 8 mins. The cab fare would be CNY 20-25 in the day time.

Then you can take bus no.877. This is a non-stop bus with the ticket fare of CNY 12 per person. The duration is around an hour. The drop-off site is close to the pulley car lower station and about 10 minutes' walk to the entrance. The opening hours of this bus line are 06:00 to 12:30 from Deshengmen. Please pay much attention to this.

Generally speaking, there are enough bus tickets for tourists on weekends. Don't worry. And you can arrive at the bus station earlier.
