About:How to Buy Tickets

May I purchase China Bullet Train tickets for my US friends?

Could I provide copy of my friends' passport to make the purchase?

Yes, it is OK. You can do it online, a copy is enough. Also, I think it is OK to buy a paper one at the station directly as well by holding your original passport and the copy of your friends. You can have a try.
