About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

Do I need a transit visa of Hong Kong?

Hi I am travelling from Canada to Australia. My passport is Iranian and I have permanent residency of Canada. My flight connects in Hong Kong. It's around 5 houds and I won't leave the airport.

Yes, Sara, you need to apply for a transit visa for HK beforehand.

Yes, you need as long as you will have layover in Chinese cities. Otherwise, you don't need it.

I suggest you find a direct flight (non-stop to Australia).
