About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

72 hours free transit at Guangzhou airport

when y arrive at Guangzhou airport around 11.00 a.m. the start the 72 hour free transit same day at 0.00. do y have then to leave within 3 days, or can this also be the 4th day?

For Guangzhou, the duration of stay starts from the next day of entry.

hi joe, tnx for yr reply, but what i meant is when y have to leave then. For example y arrive at Tuesday morning 11.00 at Guangzhou, transit visa start Wednesday morning 0.00 a.m.. When y have to leave then? is this friday before 23.59?

To use the 72 hour free transit at Guangzhou, you have to leave before the Saturday morning 0.00 a.m., if you arrive at Tuesday morning 11.00.
