Us citizen traveling to Phillipines with stop in Shanghai

I will be traveling to the Philippines and have a 19 hr lay over in Shanghai. I'm not looking to leave the airport. What's my best option and must do before and while I arrive to airport for my layover. All I want to do is arrive and wait the hours in the airport for my next flight.
