About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Am i eligible for 72 hour no visa?

I will be traveling from Toronto and arrive in shanghai fri nov 10th and leave sun 12th to Malaysia
but when i come back home i leave from Thailand to Beijing for 11 layover back to Toronto?
