would i be qualified for the 72 hour free visa?

Question

Will it work if I fly from Toronto Canada to Beijing (stop for 72 hours) then buy a confirm ticket to the Philippines. Would love to see great wall and not pay for the visa.

Upon your arrival at Beijing, the onward flight tickets has to be booked, then you can be eligible for the 721h visa free transit. If you will get the onward ticket when you are in Beijing, you cannot use the policy and you need to hold a visa.
