About:Chinese Embassy in Iran

What are the necessary documents for my wife to receive a visa to stay with me in china?

I am fully funded PhD student in china and my wife is in Iran at the moment.

Mehdi, your wife can apply for an S type to enter mainland China to stay with you. She needs to provide passport and the copy, 2 passport-style photos, a completed application form, an invitation letter from you, copy of your passport and Chinese residence permit, as well as your marriage certificate and the transportation arrangement to China.
