About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

About L visa extension

hello, i have an L type (30 days) and i want to stay longer in china (6 months and more). what reason can i give for wanting those many months and is it possible to get this looong extension. also, do most companies help with getting their employees Z type because i want to work in china.

You can just tell the truth why you need 6-month stay, and usually the consular officers will give you proper extension time based on your situation. It's possible to get the long extension. If you want to work in mainland China, you can try to convert your L type into a Z type within China. You can inquire the company to see if they will help you do that.

the reason why i would want a long extension is , well, i just want to live in china because i like it there. will they give me an extension because of such a reason?
