About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do both previous and next destinations have to be transit countries?

I will be flying London to Chiangmai to chengdu to Tokyo. Would this be allowed as a transit. I have a uk passport.

Hi, you can make use of the free transit in Chengdu if you travel like that. Nice trip!
