About:Zhouzhuang Water Town

Hello, is there any buses from Zhouzhuang to Luzhi?

Does anyone know if yes and the times?
If I'm not wrong we can arrive to Tongli from Suzhou by metro. There should be a bus from Tongli to ZZ (does anyone know the times?). But I cannot find any tips about ZZ to Luzhi, even though there are only 22kms and the big S5 road between the two towns. My idea was to go back from Luzhi to Shanghai (I've seen taxi Luzhi-Kunhan South and train from there to Shanghai)
Can anyone help me?

As I know, no direct bus is available.
You need to take Bus Kunshan 261 and transfer to Kunshan 161 at ZZ Bus Station. Then transfer to Bus Kunshan 109 at Huguang Rd, get off at Huangqiao Village. After that, walk north for about 10 minutes to ZZ Town.
Bus Kunshan 261 is available from 7:30 to 22:15;
Bus Kunshan 161 is available from 5:40 to 22:30;
Bus Kunshan 109 is available from 5:45 to 19:30.

As for Tongli to ZZ, you can take bus Wujiang 758 from Tongli Bus Station to Jiangze, which is about 800 meters southwest to ZZ Town. The bus is available from 6:30 to 18:00.

Thanks so much Eva!! where do you find all these precise bus times? Is there a reliable website?
I think it sounds more advisable to get a TAXI from ZZ to Luzhi. How much can cost a 22kms race?
If I couldn' t find any trains from Kunshan to Shanghai in the late afternoon, is it advisable to go back to Suzhou to catch the quick train? I cannot understand how much I can rely on buses.. are they oft from ZZ to Shanghai? I found every 4 hours and not later than 4.30pm, do you agree? How difficult is to be understood in those touristic neighbours? I mean, is it possible to speak English or do people only speak Mandarin? A last silly question: is it necesary to have the precise amount of money on buses (we buy tickets onboard, don't we? bus driver or ticket machine?) or can they change notes? thanks so much for your help

All the buses timetable can be found in Amap or Baidu Map.

If you want to take a taxi, it may cost CNY60-70.

As for transport back to Shanghai, you can follow your plan: take a bus from Kunshan South Bus Station to SZ first, which takes about 1h and CNY16. After that, take a bullet train to SH. By the way, the last bullet train leaves at 23:07 from SZ North.

I’m afraid most of bus drivers can’t speak English, but you can make yourself understood by some body language.
All the buses are available for cash, so you are suggested to prepare some money in advance.

if my plan to see either Tongli and ZZ and Luzhi (and back to Shanghai) is not possible in a day, I can have the necessity to go to Shanghai from ZZ.
There should be a Tourism Bus 7 from ZZ Bus Station that runs to Huaqiao Metro Station. From there I could get the Subway Line 11 to the hotel. Do you agree? What time could the last bus from ZZ to Huaqiao be? Thanks so much
