About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Shanghai to visit Huangshan

We plan to arrive in Shanghai for 5 days, then fly to Korea after that. I believe we can apply for the 144 hour free transit. However, we also plan to see Huangshan while in Shanghai. Will the transit visa allow us to travel to Huangshan?

It will not. Huangshan is in Anhui province and the 144-hour transit only covers the city of Shanghai, Jiangsu province and Zhejiang province.
