About:Kunming Airport

VISA required to transfer from shandong airlines to china estern airline

Hi, I am traveling from Delhi to Hong Kong via Kunming Airport.

I am using Shandong airline from Delhi to KMG, while KMG to HKG I am using China Eastern Airline.

KIndly let me know if I need any VISA for transit or for transfer (luggage) within airlines

May I know if you are Indian passport holder? If so, no visa is needed if your layover is within 24h. If you have luggage through service at the departing place, there is no need to reclaim at KMG. Otherwise, you have to collect and recheck in.
