About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

London - Beijing - Shanghai - London

Hi,

My boss and colleagues are traveling Oct 18-19 London - Shanghai, and then Shanghai - Beijing Oct 19, and then Beijing - London Oct 20.

Is this okay? Does this qualify under the 72 hour visa? If not what is needed?

Rachel, no, it won’t qualify for the free transit facility as it is not a transit at all and you will stop in both Beijing and Shanghai. You should apply for a tourist L type beforehand.
