RENEWAL OF CHINA PASSPORT AND 3 YEARS VISIT PASS PLUS

My wife china passport expires 11 feb 2019 and her three years visit pass now only for 1 year to 2019. Can she renew her china passport now before I renew her visit pass for 3 years? If possible can she do it online like I do for her visit pass renewal?
