About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Immediate return

Do I need an entry permit if I return immediately on the same flight from China which I used to fly to China without entering China? I’m basically transit passenger returning after waiting for return for 2 hours at airport only with hand luggage and not going through customs? Thanks

That depends on whether your flight is going back to where it came from. If it is, then you'll need a visa since that's not transit at all. If it's continuing to another destination then you don't need a visa.

I have a flight from Prague via Helsinki to Chongking and on a separate ticket from Chongking to Oslo via Helsinki. Via helsinki means change of plane in Helsinki and on same ticket to final destination and no stopovers. Thanks.

So this means that I need a visa or I need to fly to Oslo from e.g Hong Kong.

So you will travel like Prague-Helsinki-Chongqing-Helsinki-Oslo? If yes, you cannot enjoy free transit. But Prague-Helsinki-Chongqing-HK-Helsinki-Oslo will be fine for the free transit in Chongqing.
