About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

Under 18 with Immediate family in China。

My parents are no longer considered citizens of China but I have many close family members who live there. Would it be possible to gain a residence permit or apply for citizenship if I where to move back with family? I am planning to but I am doubtful if I will be considered Chinese or not. Also I understand that there is a travel ban right now but I mean after it has been lifted。

Max, you may only be eligible for the Q2 visa, with which you can't get a temporary residence permit. If you have a passport of US, then you are not considered Chinese as China does not recognize dule citizenship.
