About:Requirements for Permanent Residence Permit

Lived and worked in China for seven years

I have lived and worked in China permanently for seven years, working as an elementary teacher in a Chinese managed school. I have only left the country for short holidays in Summer and Chinese New Year. My girlfriend is Chinese, we have lived together for three years and plan to get married soon. I want to apply for permanent residency in China, what would you recommend I do?

To apply for a PR, you should live in China for 5 years in a row and the annual stay is no less than 9 months after your marriage. So you are advised to apply for the PR five years after you get married.
