About:Shanghai Metro Line 2

Hi..Can I go from Pudong Airport to People Square by metro without using maglev?

Should I do any train transfer in between? Thank you.

You can take metro line 2 directly there, and there is a transfer at Guanglan Rd, from East Extension to line 2. It takes about 1 hour and CNY7.

If you take the Line 2 from PVG to people's square. Do you need to transfer (get off one train and get on another one) at Guanglan?

Yes, you need to transfer from a four-carriage train to an eight-carriage one. But it is quite easy and can be finished in the station. Don't worry!
