About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

We are travelling Bangkok to Calgary Canada via Kunming with layover - visa requirements?

We are going to leave the Kunming airport for hotel for night - do we need a visa ahead?
Flight indicates possible short stop in Nanking/nanjing which may require change of planes. Do we need any special documents for this transfer?

Hi, if your total layover time in mainland China is less than 24 hours, you can enjoy 24 hr direct transit. No visa is required then.
