About:Prohibited Items

Can I bring USB thumb drives with TV shows in English to watch at our hotel in our down time?

We are travelling from Canada with a Sinorama tour for 12 days and thought it would be nice to bring a few downloaded shows & movies with us to watch in the evenings in our room. Is such material considered prohibited? Will our thumb drives be confiscated?

Yes, as I know, you can bring it for personal use. And you are advised to declare it at the custom.
